currently I am at my home centre for my sixth form, waiting till 3:50 when i head of to work (its only down the road) and i decided that i would post up images when i get them of the progress I make with the models.

I am however half way through a 2 week internet ban at home, so I wont be posting the images up until then. Unless I go round a mates.

Well, Just to keep you in the know, I have finished the base painting of my 2 sergeants from the box, and my grenade launcher guy. Currently dont own any metalic paint so have left metalic areas still with their black undercoat. The quickest I have spent on a guy, bearing in mind that i cant fully paint him has been 1 hour and that was last night.

order of paints:
paint on a black undercoat. I like to make sure I get a nice even finish so i grab my pot of chaos black and undercoat brush and put that on.

Paint the fatigues. For me this is Dark Angels Green, I then put on some basic camoflauge patterns.

Paint the flak jacket. This is scorched brown

Paint the skin. This is the newish Tallarn Flesh Foundation paint. Over a brown or black base coat looks really nice

Paint metal/imperial eagles. I am putting on a codex grey undercoat for the metal to be put on, and am leaving the imperial eagles codex.

Highlight. I highlight the green with an equal mix DAG and Catachan Green, and the brown an even mix of SB and Bestial.

wash. I use Ogryn Flesh on the skin, Devlan Mud on the brown, and Thraka Green on the green.

things like eyes and hair I have left black for now.

could someone shrink the pictures please? and/or tell me how to.

Well made, enough detail to make an entire army of them eyecandy. Reminds me of way back when I painted an entire army of Catachan Junglefighters, way back when they had the crap codex in 3rd edition.
How many painted models are you currently at?

Those look really good, it only takes you an hour for one? Better than any thing I could do.

A quick way to cut the size is just to load the image in paint and cut out the area about the unit. You can also shrink the size with Microsoft office picture manager if you have it. But why would you want to do that when you put so much work and detail in to it
