Post Application[EU] - Raion Mahr

Character's Name:

Raion Mâhr.

Male or female? (optional)

Male.

Age (real life)? (Optional)

I'm 24 years old.

Which Career are you most interested with?

I'm leading towards the Swordmaster. I'll be sure to try the classes out come open beta.

Are you interested in the US or EU membership?

I'm interested in a EU membership.

What time zone do you live in?

GMT+1 (Norway).

How regular will you be able to play? / How many hours per week do you plan to dedicate to WAR?

I'm a casual gamer, studies on the side must take priority - but history tells me that I do tend to give my gaming hobby a few hours more than I should. If I like WAR, expect to see me around a lot.

Are you currently in any other Warhammer Online Guilds?

No, I'm not. I have not contacted any other guilds either.

Are you being sponsored by a current guild member? If so, Whom?

No, sadly, I'm not sponsored.

How did you find out about the guild?

I found out about the Lost Guard through the Warhammer Alliance boards.

Why do you want to be a part of The Lost Guard of Tor Anroc?

Because I'd like to be part of an elven race only guild, and The Lost Guard looks the part. Open beta is coming up and I'd like to enter the game for the first time, as a part of something, I think that will give me a better impression of the game - especially since a lot of the game is based around guilds and cooperation.

Do you have Ventrilo access?

I do have a headset w. mic, and rusty English language skills, so yes.

Tell us a little about your character: (Bio)

There really isn't much to tell about my character yet; Mâhr, is just one of many Elves striving to rid the sacred lands of chaos and darkness. Having lost many friends and kin to the surging hordes, his personality reflects emptiness at times. The visions of a distant beacon of hope keeps him going.
As a result of seing death and destruction throughout his entire life and for the foreseeable future, he has learned to deeply respect the courage and devotion of those having fought before him. Enemies slain by his sword, is dedicated to the victorious dead. If not always through a physical animation or ritualistic cry, then certainly it is made clear through his thoughts whenever the blade strikes true. The High Elves will be victorious. There can be no other way.

Thank you for the welcome, Anaris. I obviously should have made an application right away, so forgive me for the, in retrospect, needless enquiry.

As you can imagine I'm excited to test the game.

heh see you decided to join us
Welcome to the guild, hope you will enjoy going to WAR with us

EDIT: if you're looking for more information (prior to playign a class) you can always look in the "Guild News and Information" forum, and subforums for more info gathered through closed beta, i know that for swordmasters Kier has provided alot of highly usefull feedback, and im sure others have done the same for their respective classes

Welcome friend, to the Lost guard of Tor Anroc /wave.
I'm sure you will find the career of your choice, and since this MMORPG will run for years to come, you'll have plenty of time.

Thank you all, I'm glad to be here.

@Ferruin; Thanks - I'll be sure to check in through the boards on a regular basis. Will you guys open a European guild chapter forum here come release? It'd be way easier to check the goings on with us, instead of having both US and EU posts in a mix. For example a place where we can discuss news and tactics related to the EU side of things only. I am sorry if there is such a place and I've not been able to locate it.

@Anae; Yes, here I am. I'll check the info you've got on the swordmaster. Looks like a proper backbone class of any high elven army in the game.
