Open Beta Keys Can Be Given Away

Sorry, I cannot post a quote since this confirmation comes from the WAR-Europe beta forums ( which are NDA restricted ).

However ; I can confirm that it is completely safe to give away your open beta key, if you were a closed beta tester or simply cannot make use of it.

Doing so will not imperil your headstart & bonus item keys.

CE pre-order open beta keys are just as safe to give away as SE ones.

This confirmation comes directly from the GOA staff, who are running the EU open beta.

I'm sure they won't mind this news being spread around, since more people in open beta = more potential customers.

So... anyone need an open beta key ?

P.S. Does anyone have a US CE pre-ordered from a retailer who won't be providing them with a CE headstart key ?

i preordered standard edition from Amazon. so i have been deprived of the key i am entitled to.


if anyone has an extra US Key i could really use it.

: I have the open beta key, that means i wait till the 7th, and Ive already downloaded the beta client. And I'm having a problem with my downloading the patches, it is asking for my log in name and password, and it never works, pm me if you know anything!

If you preordered your game from Amazon there was a nice big artical sent out by Mythic that you can still receive your keys. Its under your account, and my downloads.

I got mine a few days ago from all the sites distributing them to the masses - this is still a great opportunity for those of us who still hasn't got a key to experience the game - Good thing that you're making people aware that it is possible.
