| | as much as im for the uniform look of the guild, im still voting C), at least untill we reach a firm rank 40.
during levelign you will change gear so often that having to dye every time would be not only annoying and stupid, but also a huge waste of resources
so meh, until rank 40 id be happiest if we could just go about the whole colour issue as we please realy

| | | Basically, for now at least I vote C) with standard bearers wearing uniform colours when carrying the Guild banner
In addition I think we should decide on a Guild Colour scheme, that people can choose to wear if they wish to
In addition i agree with Anaetheron, we should stay off deciding whether to have a colour scheme for all members until the majority of members have reached level 40, we can then access how accessible dyes are and go from there
1 idea i think, is to not only have an optional Guild colour scheme, which standard ears wear, but also for Squad leaders and higher to wear (once they reach level 40), it would help them stand out as important ranks at meetings, and denote their position
But i think we wait to decide whther we use a colour scheme or not until we have hit 40 and see how easy dyes are to obtain
O but Guild heraldry and colour (for the cape and standard)should be decided NOW, so the CE guys know what to reserve for the guild when the headstart begins (as the CE guys get an extra day), this could possibly done when the OB starts using Screenshots of proposed designs, we then vote and decide on our heraldry in time for the guys to reserve it in the headstart |

| | Sadly pink is one of the advanced colours, those you must unlock to get (don't ask me how). Maybe there's a reason for that...
The Pink Guard of Tor Anroc, now that would make peoples heads turn. In all seriusness tough, I think that making the uniform voluntary is the way ahead.

| | Im gonna have to vote for C since I always tend to go from dye to dye depending on my mood whenever dyeing system is in place. |

| | Imagine that. Pink. People already scream that high elves look a bit G-A-Y, what would they say if we'd be pink as well? Worth a try! LOL!

| | Whatever guild colors we choose for our Banner&Cape will have an effect on what armor colors will blend well.
In DAoC, I rarely had matching armor...but I'd try to dye the pieces that REALLY clashed with the rest of my gear.
Perhaps as we level up, we can each have a dyed "uniform" worn only for special events. These should be affordable low to mid level pieces common in the game. Perhaps each class can have its own "look"', appropriate for the class. Gathing together in uniform for in-game guild meetings etc. should help promote the feeling of an Elf army.

| | During closed beta, I had the task of making and designing the guild heraldry. It was black and red. Mostly black with the runic symbols on the borders of the banner red. I tried to use blue, but it wasn't showing up well. So, I when with red as it was very noticeable against the black.
Keep in mind that everyone has the option to either show or not show guild heraldry on their cloaks. It is a simple check box on your cloak slot.
Both Lost Guard chapters will eventually be shaped by their members. EU chapter might decide to do things that US chapter might decide not to follow. And vice versa.

| | I second Anaetheron and do the "double vote":
C) till when we are at level cap, then
B) at level cap (since I'm not sure how A can be enforced without forcing people to get specific equipment) | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
